Ingredients
  

The Basics:

  • Pita Bread whole wheat, gluten-free, or regular
  • Marinara or Pizza Sauce 2–3 tablespoons per pizza
  • Shredded Cheese mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, or vegan options

Toppings (Choose Your Favorites):

  • Proteins: Pepperoni grilled chicken, sausage, or bacon bits
  • Vegetables: Bell peppers mushrooms, onions, olives, spinach
  • Fresh Herbs: Basil oregano, parsley

Instructions
 

Set Up Your Cooking Station:

  • Build a campfire or light a portable grill.
  • Let flames settle until you have steady heat from glowing coals.
  • Place a grill grate or preheat a cast-iron skillet over the fire.

Prepare Your Pita Base:

  • Lay pita bread flat.
  • Spread 2–3 tablespoons of marinara or pizza sauce, leaving a small border.

Add Toppings:

  • Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly.
  • Layer proteins, vegetables, and herbs as desired.

Cook the Pizzas:

  • Place pizzas on the grill or skillet, using foil to prevent sticking.
  • Rotate pizzas every couple of minutes to avoid burning.
  • Cook for 5–10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and edges are crisp.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Remove pizzas carefully using tongs or a spatula.
