One-Pot Spaghetti with Meat Sauce is a hearty, delicious camping recipe. Perfect for minimal cleanup, it’s easy to make and customize.

  • Camp stove or fire grate
  • Wooden Spoon

  • Optional Tools : Cheese grater
  • Measuring Cups
  • Collapsible sink for cleanup

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground meat beef, turkey, or sausage
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 4 –5 cups water or broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for garnish

Optional Add-Ons:

  • Vegetables: Mushrooms zucchini, or bell peppers
  • Herbs: Fresh basil or oregano
  • Spices: Red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

Set Up Your Cooking Area

  • Choose a flat surface for your stove or fire grate.
  • Organize ingredients and tools nearby.

Brown the Meat

  • Heat olive oil in the pot over medium heat.
  • Cook the ground meat, breaking it into smaller pieces.
  • Add onion and garlic, cooking until soft and fragrant.

Add Sauce and Pasta

  • Stir in marinara sauce with the meat mixture.
  • Layer uncooked spaghetti over the sauce.
  • Add water or broth until the pasta is fully submerged.

Simmer and Stir

  • Cover the pot and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Reduce heat, stirring occasionally, and cook for 10–15 minutes.
  • Add extra liquid if needed.

Finish and Serve

  • Once the pasta is tender, remove from heat.
  • Garnish with Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
